Description
This standard black 7-way trailer cord has a removed outer jacket for custom wiring trailer applications. The cable is abrasion resistant while the plug has easy grip wings for quick removal. It is color coded to work with most RV/motor-home applications. The double pronged plug helps provide a better connection when connected to the trailer socket.
The 7-pole connectors provide additional circuits for trailers with electric brakes and auxiliary lighting such as interior lights or a backup/reverse function.

Nicely made and will work for my application. The wiring directions that came with it were wrong, but I always check continuity from end to end. The cord I received was for a travel trailer not a cargo trailer. Cargo trailers use: Yellow= Left Turn, Green= Right Turn, Brown- Tail Lights. Travel trailers use: Red= Left turn, Brown= Right Turn, Green= Tail Lights, but that’s why I always check continuity.

The cord was the exact same wiring configuration as my original 7 wire cord. Both were conntek power cords. Putting the wires into the connection box mounted to the frame under my travel trailer was difficult due to the cramped space., but everything worked good as new when I finished. Different gauge wires so buy ring terminals after you see the sizes.

The product I purchased from Cord Depot was much better quality than the first one I purchased off of eBay. The firstr one said “made in China” right on the plug and was a flimsy POS. The Cord Depot product is way better, worked great!
